Orbit
See everything Claude Code does, live on a map in your browser. Replay sessions, read past chats and track cost. Runs on your own computer. Beta. Python…
What it does
Orbit is a live, animated window into Claude Code. Every file Claude reads, every command it runs and every change it makes appears on a map in your browser the moment it happens.
Everything runs on your own computer. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What you get
- Live map. Claude sits at the centre; your files, the terminal, web, search and MCP tools orbit it. Each action fires a beam of light, edits spark, failures flash red, and sub-agents appear as their own satellites.
- Every step in full detail. Code changes type themselves in as a before-and-after diff. Commands play out in a terminal window, command first, then output.
- Replay. Play any session back on the map at 1× to 30× speed, with a scrub bar.
- Search and filters. Find any step by text, or show only edits, reads, commands, searches, web, agents, MCP, prompts or failures.
- Cost and plan usage. The estimated cost of each session and each prompt, where the tokens went, plan limits and how full the context window is.
- Chats. Every conversation Claude Code has saved on your computer, grouped by project and searchable.
- Workspace. Start Claude sessions from the browser in a built-in terminal, beside the live map, with an alert when Claude needs you.
- Shareable reports. One click gives a self-contained HTML page or Markdown file of what was asked, what changed and what it cost.
Install
Inside Claude Code, add the plugin and restart, then type /orbit. Or install the standalone command with pipx, run orbit install-hooks, then orbit.
