Estate Box

Your own data warehouse and an AI that learns from your data, in one self-hosted box. Nothing leaves it. In development. Python, Proprietary. Runs on Linux.

What it is

Estate Box is a small computer that sits on your desk or shelf and becomes the home for your own data. It gathers your statements, exchange activity and public market feeds into a proper data warehouse, and runs an AI that trains on that data every night. You read the answers on your phone.

It is built for people who want the insight that cloud apps sell, without handing their data to a cloud app.

Estate Box packages Data Estate, the warehouse and AI brain Bit Primitive has run every day on a Raspberry Pi, as a product anyone can set up.

AI built in

The box ships with an AI brain that learns from your data, not from a model trained somewhere else.

What's in the box

Part What it does
Connectors Statement files you upload, read-only exchange APIs, public market, FX, macro and news feeds
Warehouse dbt and DuckDB, modelled as a tested star schema: staging, facts, dimensions and app views
Brain The self-training models, their registry, scores and history
App A phone app (installable web app) for your numbers, forecasts, insights and the AI's answers
Box Scheduling, catch-up after power cuts, safe blue/green rebuilds and backups

Private by design

Status

In development, under a working name. Estate Box is not available yet: there is no download, pre-order or price. The engine it packages already runs daily as Data Estate.
